Aubameyang joins Chelsea on a £12m deal

Premier League side Chelsea have agreed on a deal in principle with Barcelona to sign former Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The agreed fee is £12m for Aubameyang to join Chelsea, with the Blues expected to seal the deal before the end of the transfer window today.

It also includes a swap deal for Marcos Alonso.

Ace football transfer journalist, Fabrizio Romano tweeted:

Chelsea and Barcelona have now reached an agreement in principle for Pierre Aubameyang! €14m fee plus Marcos Alonso to Barça included — now finalizing details. #CFC Aubameyang is expected to fly to London in the upcoming hours, once details are resolved.

Fabrizio Romao later confirmed the move:
