
Update: Rapper Young Dolph’s murder suspects arrested after manhunt
Two men have been arrested in connection with the November 2017 shooting death of rapper Young Dolph in Memphis, Tennessee.
Justin Johnson, 23, was apprehended on Tuesday afternoon, according to the US Marshals Service, nearly a week after police announced he was wanted for a variety of alleged charges, including first-degree murder, criminal attempted first-degree murder, and property theft.
According to Shelby County District Attorney General Amy Weirich, a grand jury indicted a second suspect on first-degree murder charges in the shooting death of the Memphis rapper on Tuesday.

The car was stolen in a carjacking on Nov. 10 at a gas station and was discovered three days later, on Nov. 20, behind a home in Orange Mound, where a tipster said it had been abandoned.
Young Dolph, real name Adolph Robert Thornton Jr., was shot and killed in Memphis on Nov. 17 while visiting Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies, a bakery in South Memphis frequented by the rapper. He was 36 years old.
