In honor of the late Queen Elizabeth II, the Anglican Communion of Ghana and the British High Commission in Ghana organized a Thanksgiving Service on Friday in the Cathedral Church of the Most Holy Trinity in Accra.

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Chief of Staff Madam Frema Opare, British High Commissioner to Ghana Harriet Thompson, and Chief of Gbese Nii Ayi Bonte II, who was accompanied by his elders and Queen mothers, all attended the two-hour solemn ceremony.

In addition to the Thanksgiving Service, there was a vibrant exhibition of Ga culture, complete with dance, drumming, and musket firing.
