Prince William walks away from journalist who asked if he supports his uncle Prince Andrew
Prince William refused to give an answer when asked if he supports his uncle Prince Andrew, who is facing a civil sexual assault case
The Duke of Cambridge was leaving the Foundling Museum in London today, Jan. 19, with his wife Kate Middleton when a member of a TV news crew asked: “Do you support Prince Andrew?”
William leaned in closer and asked him to repeat the question.
“Sorry, I can’t hear you,” William said.
The journalist then asked again: “Do you support Prince Andrew? Have you spoken to him recently?”
When the question was repeated, Prince William put his arm behind his wife Kate’s back and walked past without commenting.
The Queen stripped Andrew of “his royal highness” title and honorary military roles last week.
Andrew is facing a civil sexual assault case from Virginia Giuffre in the US.
Virginia is suing the duke, who is ninth in line to the throne, for allegedly assaulting her when she was a teenager. Andrew has denied the allegations.
