Nollywood actor Michael Duru down with Diabetes receives N5 Million Naira from Billionaire Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin
Michael Duru, a veteran Nollywood actor who has had a leg amputated due to diabetes, has been given N5 million by billionaire prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, the founder of Christ Mercyland church in Warri.
The prophet’s gesture brought tears of joy to the actor and his wife in what appeared to be an emotional and dramatic moment for the actor, who has been confined in his home town in Anambra state after his doctor insisted that he must be amputated to survive.
Michael Duru explained in a video posted on the Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin Foundation’s social media page that life has been difficult since he was amputated and that he couldn’t afford an artificial leg, which he estimated would cost around N600,000, in a video posted on the Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin Foundation’s social media page.
The man of God was drawn to a video Duru had earlier posted on social media regretting his situation and asking for help from Nigerians.
Following that, the billionaire prophet dispatched a delegation to Duru’s home in Anambra to present the veteran with a cash gift of N5 million.
The actors were moved to tears, prompting a gathering of villagers and well-wishers who were celebrating the development.
The prophet’s action toward the actor is one of the cleric’s regular actions.
Thousands of families were feted with over N85 million and food during the festive season by the Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin Foundation.
Only a month ago, Fufeyin gave over N40 million to the wives of men who died in the Nigerian armed forces.
He had also given N8 million to Thespian Clem Ohameze to help with medical bills.
Finally, the cleric is said to have released nearly N800 billion as a palliative in support of the Federal Government and the people in order to mitigate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
This is humanity at its best, and it deserves to be recognized.
