The list of Kwame Nkrumah’s achievements in education, agriculture, health, roads, infrastructure, economy etc cannot be quantified.

Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah did not only win independence for Ghana but also set up the nation for growth in all sectors.

Kwame Nkrumah built Ghana in six years as president of Ghana. Most of the things he built are still useful to the nation decades after he was thrown out.

Non-arguably, Kwame Nkrumah comes across as Ghana’s best president ever and doubles as one of Africa’s most prolific leaders. His influence, dedication, and service to mankind are unmatched.

His vision of planning ahead of time and building institutions and edifices that stand the test of time sets him apart from the rest. Ghana has not had a President like Kwame Nkrumah, who worked tirelessly to establish a nation just a few years after being free of colonial rule.

Kwame Nkrumah’s achievements in education, agriculture, health, roads, infrastructure, economy etc cannot be quantified. Ghana still relies on the Akosombo Dam which was built by Kwame Nkrumah in 1965 as its primary source of electricity.

The Tema Motorway which was built by him in 1965 still serves the transportation needs of millions of Ghanaians. He also built a lot of factories to drive Ghana’s industrialization agenda, sadly, most of these factories have become white elephants or simply left to rot.

The University of Cape Coast, Bank of Ghana, Ghana Oil Company (GOIL) Ambassador Hotel, and Ghana News Agency are some of the institutions that have outlived the Nkrumah era; a man of vision.
