
Larsa Pippen calls her divorce from NBA legend Scottie Pippen ‘the longest in history’ after waiting three years for it to be made official
Larsa Pippen has spoken out after finalizing her divorce from NBA legend Scottie Pippen last week, three years after filing for divorce in 2018.
On Thursday’s episode of Getting Real with the Housewives’ podcast, the 47-year-old model reflected on their years of back-and-forth in court, admitting to herself at times, ‘Is it ever going to be over?’
‘It’s the longest divorce in history,’ revealed the Real Housewives of Miami star.
‘I’m kind of glad, you know, we’re where we are today,’ she added. The divorce is over, we’re still in a good place, and our children are older as well.’
‘The divorce is over, we’re still in a great place, and our kids are older,’ said the mother of four.
Scotty Pippen Jr., 21, Preston Pippen, 19, Justin Pippen, 17, and Sophia Pippen, 13, are the couple’s children.
‘I wish my kids had had a mother and father in the same house.’ ‘I felt guilty because I grew up with my mom and dad,’ Larsa told Us Weekly.
‘I wanted my kids to grow up like that, but as far as our relationship is concerned, it couldn’t be better than it is right now,’ Kim Kardashian’s former best friend continued. To be honest, we’re in such a wonderful place. We adore one another.’
‘We’ll always be there for each other.’ We support our children, you know, we’re just in a really good place,’ she told the publication.
She also stated that she and Scottie were’really proud’ of how they ‘navigated through this divorce’ and other challenges.
Scottie filed for divorce in 2016, shortly before rekindling their relationship, and continued to do so until the end of 2018.
On January 6, lawyer David J. Glass confirmed to Us Weekly that the divorce had been finalized.
