
Jalen Rose filed for divorce from his wife, ESPN host Molly Qerim

After three years of marriage, ex-NBA player Jalen Rose has filed for divorce from ESPN host Molly Qerim.
Jalen Rose and Molly Qerim were regarded as one of sports television’s power couples prior to their divorce filing.
According to TMZ, the split was amicable, and both parties are still friendly. Rose first revealed her relationship with the “First Take” host in June 2016, and the couple married in a low-key ceremony in New York City in July 2018.
Jalen filed for divorce on April 30, 2021, just months after starring in a Gatorade commercial with his wife. In court documents, he stated that the marriage was irreparably damaged after Qerim relocated to Connecticut.
He confirmed their split in an Instagram story post. Jalen penned;
Qerim, the host of “First Take,” has yet to respond to the news. She hosted the show on Wednesday, December 8, prior to the announcement of their divorce. Rose’s name, however, has been removed from her social media accounts.
Jalen does not want alimony, and Molly does not want it either. According to the publication, there was no prenup, and Molly does not want spousal support.
Rose played in the NBA from 1994 to 2007, before transitioning to television. Qerim was previously employed by NFL Network. The ex-couple is still employed at ESPN.
