Phoebe Bridgers, an American singer, has revealed that she had an abortion last year while on tour.
After the Supreme Court’s prepared opinion to repeal abortion rights leaked online Monday night, May 2, the 27-year-old California-born and bred musician stated this.
According to Bridgers,
“I had an abortion in October of last year while I was on tour.
“I went to planned parenthood where they gave me the abortion pill. It was easy.
“Everyone deserves that kind of access.”
She ended with a link to an article from The Cut that listed abortion-related charities to which people may give.
