Kanye West Calls Out Adidas Over Yeezy Day.

The yearly two-day event began today and will feature both new launches and restocks of previous sneakers.

Ye, however, confesses that the 2019-starting initiative was carried out without his consent.

Ye stated that he had not approved the concept in a DM that was distributed to several sites.

He also admitted that he disagreed with hiring people, including a general manager for the Yeezy brand, and replenishing several hues and designs.

“adidas made up the Yeezy day idea without my approval then went and brought back older styles without my approval picked colors and named them without my approval went and hired people that worked for me without my approval,” he wrote, “stole my colorways without my approval stole my styles and material approaches without my approval went and hired a gm of Yeezy without my approval took talent on the production side and sprinkled them throughout adidas originals without my approval.”

He also claims that Adidas hampered his collaboration with Gap. “Even though they worked with Balenciaga, they completely held down production on the shoes Demna and I made for Gap by trying to intimidate Gap, even though my contract stipulates I may produce casual shoes, which I was doing when I performed fashion shows,” Demna said.

The sportswear juggernaut was then accused of ripping him off with its $55 Adilette 22 slides, which resemble his own Yeezy slides.

“When I first requested adidas to produce more Yeezy slides, the GM lied to my face and claimed they lacked the capacity. However, adidas was simultaneously cloning my slides and producing their own Yeezy slide.” God intervene, as Yeezy accounts for 68 percent of adidas online sales.

Despite all of their success, Kanye and Adidas have a rocky history together. He accused the company’s CEO Kasper Rrsted of stealing his Yeezy designs last month.

To Kasper, he responded, “I’m not standing for this blatant plagiarism any longer. “These shoes stand for the disregard that many in positions of authority have for talent.”
