God Did makes its Billboard 200 debut at No. 1, giving DJ Khaled his fourth No. 1 album overall. In the U.S., the star-studded production sold 9,500 albums out of 107,500 equivalent album units moved in the week ending September 1.
God Did, Khaled’s 10th top 10 album and fourth No. 1 following 2016’s Major Key, 2017’s Grateful, and 2021’s Khaled Khaled, features JAY-Z, Drake, Eminem, Kanye West, and Travis Scott.
A thankful Khaled acknowledged his most recent favour by tweeting, “FAN LUV DID! I appreciate it very much. ”
Only 1500 copies of God Did outsell Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti. Following nine weeks at No. 1 that were not consecutive, the latter drops to No. 2 with 106,000 equivalent album units.
Queen Radio: Volume 1 marks the continuation of Nicki Minaj’s reign and her sixth overall and consecutive top 10 albums. With 32,000 equivalent album sales, the greatest hits collection debuts at No. 10.
Following its vinyl release on August 26, Kendrick Lamar’s Mr Morale & The Big Steppers rose 24-4 (55,000), while Beyoncé’s former No. 1 Renaissance fell 3-6 (46,000) elsewhere in the top 10. Following its vinyl release, Silk Sonic’s An Evening With Silk Sonic returns to the top 10, rising 200-7 (44,000).
