Brandy Hospitalized After Suffering Seizure

Brandy experienced a seizure and was taken urgently to the hospital.

At noon on Tuesday, paramedics responded to a call about an emergency at the singer’s residence. They suspected Brandy had a seizure, according to those with firsthand knowledge, and took her to a nearby hospital.

She was still there as of Wednesday morning, but she will likely get better. According to the story, her parents have supported her.

It’s unknown what precipitated the seizure or if there were any underlying medical conditions.

Only a few days before, Brandy expressed her support for her brother Ray J when he appeared to be contemplating suicide on social media.

She posted a picture of them and the caption, “Need you bro @rayj.”

Brandy revealed a new label agreement with Motown Records earlier this year, where she is getting set to release her eighth studio album. A version of “The Roof” featuring Mariah Carey also features her.
